Welcome
Individuals who have intellectual and developmental disabilities are important members of our community. Many of the individuals we support have barriers that keep them from living independently and being active in their community.
Our Vision: All people will have the opportunity to live in and enrich their communities.
Our Mission: Pleasant View supports individuals who have disabilities in living out their goals for meaningful work, relationships, and spiritual development.

Introductions
This past year was a year of transition, assessment, and strategic focus towards enhancing quality. We welcomed Executive Director Kevin Paluszak as we honored the accomplishments and retirement of Executive Director Nancy Hopkins-Garriss, Residential Director Jane Sellers, Human Resources Director Tamra Puffenbarger, and Day Supports Services Director Peggy Secrist.
With these changes, we wanted to introduce you to our leadership team of directors:
We have two senior managers, Joy Moore and Loretta Myers, who lead the residential and day support services Pleasant View provides. Each program also has a program manager who is the point of contact for that program.
Even though the faces have changed, the mission of Pleasant View remain the same. We support individuals with disabilities in living out their goals for meaningful work, relationships, and spiritual development. Pleasant View employees work earnestly and care about the individuals with disabilities we support.
Pleasant View uses the Harrisonburg Metro Area Risk level here. This is how it is determined on a daily basis, which activities are allowable. See the Covid Visitation Guide below for more information.
