| Broadway Adult Developmental Day Program: Twenty-one persons learn pre-vocational, academic, community and daily living skills in classroom and community settings. | ||
| Community Connections Program: Socialization, communication, safety and accessing community resources are emphasized in this community-based developmental day program. Fourteen people are currently in Communiy Connections. | ||
| Harrisonburg Adult Developmental Day Program: Twenty-seven persons receive training in daily living, sensory stimulation, and pre-academic and pre-vocational skills. Consumers are encouraged to participate in a wide variety of activities which increase or maintain physsical abilities. | ||
| back to top | Supported Employment: persons work in the community in either an enclave or individual work site. Training and support are provided by a job coach.

| Specialized Home Services: Community based families offer their homes as an option for persons wanting support services. The person receives support in the home and is considered a family member. Family style meals, vacations and activities are helpful in making the environment home to the person requesting this service. Currently Pleasant View, Inc. sponsors two families that provide this opportunity for three clients. | ||
| Agency Directed Companion Services: One of the newer options through Medicaid Waiver Services, Companion Services offers persons individualized support as requested. A person may have a companion to spend time with; for the weekend or just for a few hours a week. This is a service designed to provide extra support for persons requesting more 1:1 time. |
